Dosha is a native of North Alabama where she started her dance career at the age of 3. She immediately discovered her love for dance and performing. She has had a desire to open her own dance studio for many years and recently decided that now is the time to get started. During her lifetime she has been fortunate to study dance, compete nationally, teach dance, perform at Disney, do a solo performance at the Olympic Torch Tour at the Alabama State Capital, choreograph many solo and group numbers, and choreograph many stage musical plays.
Dosha has performed in Showboat, The King and I, Lil' Abner, A Christmas Carol and many others. She was a featured dancer in several staged musical productions. She also has experience as a stage manager and execution of stage lights.
She is a graduate of Athens State University with a degree in Elementary Education and the mother of two children. She enjoys art and craft projects, music, travel, and of course dance.
Mickey Johnson is from Hazel Green, Alabama. He has extensive training in Graphic Arts/Design, Performing Arts, and Business Management. He is retired from the Boeing Company after a 34 year career as a designer, where he managed the Graphic Art Department, Photography Department and the Video Production Lab for 10 sites across the country. He is currently employed by Madison County Schools. He is a trained vocalist and actor having studied with Albert Lane of the New York Conservatory of Performing Arts.
Mickey served as the director of Huntsville Community Chorus Summer Dinner Theater for 10 years. He was the resident director for Dream Weaver’s Children’s Theatre for 6 years, served on the Executive Board of Directors for the Huntsville Community Chorus for 12 years and has been involved with Carriage House Players since 1991.
Mickey is closely associated with the Miss America Scholarship Pageant System. He served as co-director of the Miss Point Mallard Pageant and director of Miss Rocket City pageant, both are preliminaries to the Miss Alabama/Miss America pageants.
